High Heels and Ice Cream®

Hi ya I'm Lolita Flowers and I'm entering the publishing game this year with my debut entree, High Heels and Ice Cream. ISBN: 978-0-9555212-0-1.

This is a modern day version of Cinderella where the ugly sisters are replaced by flat shoes and the Fairy Godmother is called Madame Knowledge.

A young woman goes shopping for love. In pursuit of a magical 4 inch high she suddenly swaps roles as she enters a setting that echoes all the charm of Alice in Wonderland, only naughtier. The Rabbit is now an imaginary dildo running around in her shoes and a bikini wax comes with a lil something on the side.

Sample unedited excerpts of my book were previously on display at London Fashion Week and included in the goodie bag at Selfridges Shoe event in March 2007 in association with Tatler magazine.

I am at that place where I'm just doing me, free from the constraints of other people's opinions. I write because it's freeing, my journey took me there, over hills, some magical moments, love coloured rose petals and shoes, wonderful shoes that put swagger in my day.

My blog is more frivolity than fashion, but it it has a joyous feel in the way that it reads, very much so like sex: some days are truly awesome and other days deserve a dignified silence!....Ok, maybe not so much silence - what would the neighbours think?

Besides, as every writer worth their advance knows: feedback creates genius! And ladies, just so you know, I'm as humble as the Rabbit buzzing under your sheet!
